The West Umbridge Gallery - Collection of Fine Wands
With an exterior of dark wood, polished brass, and neatly carved stone, the West Umbridge Gallery is committed to alluring prospective customers with an air of elegance and luxury. The solid ebony door swings smoothly on large well-oiled hinges as you enter the building, where you are hit with a potent yet pleasing aroma of incense and pipe tobacco. This is a small and very efficiently decorated space with glass cases and displays throughout, showing off a lovely assortment of fine wands. A section behind the counter with bars over the cabinets display a collection as beautiful as they are expensive. On the counter are several thin, long boxes lined with velvet. Wands of wood, stone, and metal lay inside with neat little price tags. The entire aesthetic and atmosphere leavedisplays one with a sense that every item here should be handled with a pair of white gloves, like the ones that lay neatly folded on the counter.
This content expands on the world of Arcavios, home of Strixhaven University. Delve into a world of wizards with a collection of 40 wands that add flavorful substance to any magical campaign or adventure—curated by Arthur and Marianna Fitz, the highly contrasting yet ever-inseparable duo of scholarly adventurers. All of them (except one, spoiler alert) act as spellcasting focuses, but each also grants a new unique ability to help spellcasters stand out among their class. They have something for all levels of sorcerous experience, from common curios such as the Wand of Pointing (good sir, do not aim that at your eyes, please!) to legendary pieces of wandmaking history that represent the proverbial crown jewels of the five Colleges of Strixhaven.
